Stackby MCP Server

2026-06-01T16:15:00Z

Stackby now ships an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server — enabling AI agents and LLM-powered tools to interact with your Stackby databases directly.

What it does

  • Expose your Stackby tables as MCP-compatible data sources

  • Allow AI tools (like Claude, GPT-based agents, and others) to read, write, and query your Stackby data

  • Build AI-native workflows that connect language models to your live operational data

How to use

  • Go to Custom Connectors in Claude or ChatGPT

  • Add our Remote MCP Server URL: https://mcp.stackby.com/mcp

  • Optionally add: Client ID and Client Secret

  • Authenticate with Stackby and grant access to your Stackby resources: workspaces and stacks

  • Get connected and start automating!

  • Example prompts:

    • Create a database to manage my marketing agency clients

    • Search all the records with the status - done

    • Create a Kanban view in the Opportunities table.

Why it matters

MCP is quickly becoming the standard protocol for connecting AI agents to external tools and databases. By supporting MCP, Stackby becomes a first-class citizen in AI-powered workflows and agent-based automation pipelines.
